> Ping Chong + Company’s interview-based performance Beyond Sacred: Voices of Muslim Identity will be presented Saturday April 29 at BRIC Arts | Media in Brooklyn (FREE with RSVP) and Tuesday May 2 at Union Theological Seminary in Manhattan. Ryan is one of 3 collaborating writers on the project.
> Ryan’s interdisciplinary performance & community engagement project with Ping Chong + Company, ALAXSXA | ALASKA, recently completed a development residency at Bunnell Street Arts Center in Homer, Alaska. The project was awarded a NEFA National Theater Project grant and a TCG Audience (R)Evolution Travel Grant. It will premiere at University of Alaska Anchorage in August, followed by a tour of Alaska communities & a run Off-Broadway at La MaMa ETC in October.
> Ryan’s performed his latest solo work, Saints of Failure, in April as guest artist at the Claflin University Arts & Letters Annual Bash in Orangeburg, SC.
