ENCOUNTERS : ALASKA Community Stories Web Archive

Ryan is Project Director for ENCOUNTERS : ALASKA, a web archive of real stories of cross-cultural encounter in the Last Frontier, a partner project to the theater production ALAXSXA | ALASKA. The stories represented on the site come from interviews and community talking circles facilitated by Ryan in rural and urban settings across the state. The site has continued to grow as ALAXSXA | ALASKA toured and the artists invited audience members into further conversation. ENCOUNTERS : ALASKA is supported by the Alaska Humanities Forum.
